The underpinnings for the Forester are the same as the Impreza, the Forester is just a taller wagon. Not my best runs but proof is in the pudding: Even the CD is very close 0.33 VS 0.34 (going from memory) The F-XT gets some of it's quickness due to the 4.444 rear end. The WRX is not quicker than the F-XT and it's not much heavier. The motor is the exact same as the WRX STi though down to the Sodium filled valves and hollow camshafts. The turbo in the F-XT is the same as the WRX (TDO4) but the IC is different. Good times, nice to see my brother has the FAST grocery-getter sleeper.
